Bluewater Kayak Works designs its products to stand up under the most demanding conditions to provide you with many years of use and many great paddling adventures.
Freedom™ Series Pump Systems
The Freedom™ system is user-friendly in every respect.
- All the components (dry box, battery, switch, and pump) are secured in the cockpit eliminating the need to drill through bulkheads.
- The pump’s rechargeable battery is stored in a watertight dry box, and charged by means of a waterproof cable and connector.
- The system is activated by a durable, waterproof magnetic switch that is turned on and off from the top of the deck with the spray skirt on. You can even turn the system on when you are floating in water beside your boat!
- For our mounting plates, we use polycarbonate plastic for its virtual indestructibility (watch the comparison video below). We could use cheaper acrylic plastic, but we think that you’d rather have a polycarbonate plate in your sea kayak.
